Herb Jones
Chairman of the Board

Herb Jones assumed the role of Chairman of the Board after close to 10 years as the CEO. He led the transformation of the company from a commercial services company to a public sector prime contractor in State and Federal civilian and DoD agencies, and will continue to provide guidance to Ventech for sustained growth. During Herb’s 36 year technology career, he has led numerous technology companies, public and venture capital backed start-ups.

He has held the leadership positions of Worldwide Vice President of Sales, General Manager of Southern European Operations and CEO of three companies. Additionally, he is an entrepreneur having founded or owned two companies and experienced successful exits with three other technology firms. Among the companies in his career are AT&T, Legent Corporation, Alta Analytics, Softek and Endforce, Inc.

Ravi Kunduru
President & CEO

Through an Intelligent and Smart entrepreneurial lens, Ravi Kunduru, our President & CEO, brings a unique mixture of business acumen with technical expertise in the Information Technology (IT) industry to lead Ventech. Ravi is our visionary leader who brings a perfect blend of strategic and tactical skills. He is responsible for corporate strategies, globalization, corporate relationship, marketing and sustaining our unique company culture.

Ventech Solutions is Ravi’s 8th company and the successor of his last company- with his first having been founded at the age of 19. Ravi has applied and experienced the best practices of being a successful small business entrepreneur in the IT industry throughout his entire career. His motivation and leadership for Ventech have served as key success factors in Ventech achieving several remarkable awards, recognition and achievements, including a 7 time Inc 5000, 6 time Fast 50 company, Best Place to Work, 2015 Healthiest Employer, Business First Top IT Consultants, World’s first CMMI Level 5 software company (1.2) and, currently, with CMMI Level 3 (1.3) Development and Services assessment. Ravi’s passion towards our growth, our people and the satisfaction of our customers are the hallmarks of Ventech’s success.

Randy Fogle
Chief Financial Officer

Randy joined as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ventech Solutions in May 2016.  He is responsible for upholding strong financial management and accountability while providing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information and enhancing internal control at Ventech.

Prior to joining our team, Randy served as an audit senior manager at RSM US, LLP where he led attestation and consulting engagements for closely held businesses that provided services and products to federal and state governmental agencies.  He has over 20 years of experience working with government contractors and has led consulting engagements in cost management, performance management, strategic planning, budgeting, government contract compliance and reporting and organizational change.

Randy is a graduate of Wright State University, and has worked both in the public and private sector.  He has held leadership positions in several organizations during his career and is currently the Treasurer of the Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association and the Dayton Defense Educational Foundation.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and volunteers regularly to support non-profit agencies and community organization

Gene Noble
Chief Delivery Officer

As Ventech’s Chief Delivery Officer (CDO), Gene brings more than 25 years of innovative technical and business leadership in building, managing, and advising high-performing federal and commercial businesses. He is a business-driven, results-oriented leader with documented successes in designing and deploying technical, operational, and consultative organizations. Gene will use his program management, business acumen and operational skills to drive flawless, on-time delivery of enterprise solutions to our clients.

In the last 12 years, Gene has directed business strategy, capture, and program implementations focused on transformational initiatives and IT modernization. His strategic design and acquisition advice helped the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) acquire enterprise programs valued at more than $10 billion. Gene’s extensive experience includes designing and implementing IT modernizations and establishing strategic business partnerships. Prior to joining Ventech, Gene managed Adobe’s strategic engagement at CMS and was responsible for Adobe’s public sector healthcare Go-To Market strategy.

Gene has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland.

Donna Maggard
Controller

Donna joined Ventech as our Controller in June 2016. She is responsible for managing the accounting team and has over 25 years of domestic and international project accounting experience, including compliance and audit management, joint ventures, municipal and private contracting and GAAP, SOX, and ISO standards.

She has extensive knowledge in successful process improvement and profitability, identifying organizational needs, utilizing analytical and problem solving abilities, and implementing effective solutions. Prior to joining our team, Donna served as Branch Controller with Black Box Network Services and as District Finance Manager with AECOM.

Donna received her MBA in Finance from Ashland University and her BS in Business Administration from Empire State College (SUNY).

Bruce Gordon
SVP, Healthcare Solutions

Bruce joined Ventech Solutions as our Senior Vice President for Enterprise Technology and Strategy in February 2017. Bruce oversees our technology development and deployment activities supporting Ventech’s current customer programs and providing technology leadership for the future.  He also oversees the integration of technology initiatives with Ventech’s capabilities to advance our customers’ businesses.

Bruce brings over 40 years of experience as a services and IT executive providing innovative leadership to government, healthcare and financial services organizations. Before joining Ventech, Bruce served as the Chief Architect at CSRA for the systems that process quality measures from the nation’s healthcare providers submitted to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He has also led healthcare IT services organizations for MITRE Corporation and American Management Systems. Bruce has provided solutions for private health plans, multiple operating divisions and staff divisions of HHS, and state Medicaid programs. Prior to working in the IT services industry Bruce served as the Vice President of IT for the New York Insurance Exchange.

Bruce is a graduate of Queens College in the City University of New York, and has previously held active certifications from the Healthcare Information Management and Systems Society (HIMSS) and LOMA (formerly the Life Office Management Association).

Warren Strauss
SVP, Research & Innovation

Warren joined Ventech Solutions as our Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation (R&I) in May 2018. Warren has been instrumental in aligning R&I undertakings with Ventech’s evolving digital aspirations. Currently he oversees the innovation lab that ideates and develops technology solutions predominantly for healthcare and emerging niche technologies.

Warren has vast experience in managing and coordinating large research programs, performing data analysis and statistical interpretation. He is a pioneer in developing algorithms, elicitation models and survey methodologies to design studies and analysis frameworks for a variety of public healthcare research projects. Prior to joining Ventech, Warren managed various roles and responsibilities in Battelle Memorial Institute including Business Line Manager, Director of Research Operations in Healthcare and Analytics. Warren brings over 25 years of experience in researching cross-application scientific and business issues. He has successfully mentored and led large technical teams by building innovative, evidence-based quality technical solutions.

Warren is nationally recognized for developing innovative statistical design and analytics methodology for environmental epidemiologic studies. He is an accomplished author, freethinker and holds a Master of Science Degree in Biostatics from John Hopkins University, in addition to a Bachelor Degree in Statistics and Biometry from Cornell University.

Chris Hill
Sr. Director, HR & Talent Management

Chris currently serves as a Senior Director, Human Resources & Talent Management for Ventech solutions. He is responsible for strategic HR Direction, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and overall HR Delivery to leaders and employees across the Business. Chris and his team provide Human Resources leadership in all areas of business and human resources programs such as Branding, Talent management, Employee Engagement, workforce planning and HR operations. He has designed initiatives to design, develop and execute strategies in the pursuit of Ventech’s vision as a People 1st, Servant Leadership culture and preserve Ventech’s USP “Intelligently Smart” solutions for life.

Chris is a United States Navy Veteran who joined Ventech in 2018 after serving in several progressively responsible positions in Human Resources. His career encompasses over 25 years of Human Resources generalist and senior leadership experience and demonstrates proven success in multiple industries and human resources environments. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Sears; The Home Depot; and Apartment Investment and Management Company.

Chris actively leads within the local and professional community and is involved with the Society for Human Resource Management, United Way of Central Ohio, Wounded Warrior Project, SOCOM Care Coalition, Olentangy Youth Athletic Association and Lewis Center United Methodist Church. He has earned a Masters, Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business and a Bachelor of Science, Management of Human Resources, Bellevue University, Bellevue, Nebraska. Additionally, he is certified as a Human Resources Certification Institute – Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Eric Sharpsten
CTO, Infrastructure

Eric joined Ventech as our Chief Technology Officer for Infrastructure and is responsible for partnering with operational teams and customers to review and enhance current technologies/processes as well as identify insertion opportunities for emerging technologies to accelerate our business goals. He also works closely with business development to identify, shape and secure new opportunities to grow the company portfolio.

Eric joins us from Lockheed Martin where he was the CTO for Health and Life Sciences where he supported customers at the CMS, HHS, Veterans Administration and other commercial health services. Eric began his career as a systems engineer at GE Aerospace working on real-time sonar, anti-submarine warfare and maritime weapons systems. Past roles and responsibilities also include product management, developing and supporting several key capabilities to support Lockheed Martin core businesses including Aeronautics, Space Systems, Electronics, Missiles and Fire Controls and Mission Systems.

Eric served as an adjunct professor for the LeMoyne College from 2000-2007 where he is also a founder and active member of the Information Systems Academic Advisory Board. Eric received his MBA from LeMoyne College and his BA in Computer Information Sciences from Potsdam College (SUNY).

Raja Krishnamurthy
CTO, Application Development

As our Chief Technology Officer for Application Development, Raja is primarily responsible for all technical solutions from an Application Development and Legacy Modernization standpoint. With over a decade of tenure at Ventech, he has been essential to our team, providing incredible technical knowledge, out of the box thinking and always going beyond expectations to ensure customer satisfaction. He works closely with the Business Development and Proposal Management team in technical pre-sales and business capture activities.

Raja joined Ventech as an intern in India and has moved up the ranks holding various positions. His passion for technology and customer service makes him an invaluable asset to Ventech. He has a Masters in Computer Application, is a TOGAF 9 certified Enterprise Architect and has achieved Microsoft certifications like MCSD, MCTS (Dynamics AX), MCDBA.

Chris Stein
SVP, IT Services

Chris started as the Senior Vice President of IT Services in January 2017. He has over 24 years of management experience and is now on his 10th year serving in a management capacity with Ventech. He is responsible for developing private sector business and increasing our footprint in IT services by supporting and delivering all corporate, program, consulting and project hires and proposal resources.

Chris has experience in market and financial analysis, strategic planning, cross-functional management, competitive market positioning, goal setting and performance management, organizational development and leadership and business process analysis and improvement.

Sheela Kunduru
SVP, Operational Excellence

Sheela started as the Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence (OpEx) in January 2017. Sheela is responsible for leading and managing HR, IT governance, change management, portfolio management/EVM, pricing, quality testing, and CRM implementation and shared services.

Sheela has over 20 years of experience in business process management and IT. She has been with Ventech for over 13 years and spearheaded many areas including IT governance, program and project management, HR and finance. She was instrumental in leading Ventech ISO 9001:2000 certification, CMMI L5 assessment 200+ and CMMI L3 assessments 2013/2016.

Sheela received her Bachelor’s in computer science and engineering from the University of Madras in Chennai, India.
