US RRB awards CBOS contract

Ventech executed Benefits Online Services (BOS) a development project for Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) to transform a paper based application to an online form, catering to the needs of Railway employee or employee’s spouse upon employee demise, requesting their benefits upon retirement. We are the first organization to integrate with Level 3 authentication with Login.gov for RRB BOS project.

Ventech Solutions Makes Business First Fast 50 List for the 8th time

The fastest-growing companies in Central Ohio are making their marks in a diverse mix of industries – one helps clients by installing their acoustic ceilings, while another makes equipment for extracting botanical oils using carbon dioxide.

For this year’s Fast 50 awards program, Columbus Business First received 120 nominations from companies that have seen their sales surge over the past three years. Ventech has been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® – Development and Services. The appraisal was performed by Quality Waves.

CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

US Rail Road Retirement Board (RRB) awards an eight-year legacy modernization contract to Ventech Solutions Inc

Ventech is pleased to announce an eight(8) year,multi million dollar contract with the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board (RRB).The Legacy Systems Modernization Services contract for the RRB requires Ventech to provide expertise in application modernization strategy & deployment, systems integration and systems operations & support. Ventech is providing services to convert RRB’s legacy mainframe applications to a .NET framework, allowing RRB the flexibility to ultimately move to the cloud. After conversion, Ventech will conduct Business Process Re engineering (BPR) of the existing applications to eliminate redundancies through a combination of consolidation and new application development.

Ventech Solutions bringing 200 high-paying jobs to Prince William

Ventech Solutions, an Ohio-based healthcare software company, announced plans Tuesday to establish a $1.5 million IT center in the Manassas area, bringing 200 high-paying jobs to Prince William County.

Ventech operates in a 23,392-square-foot facility at 10110 Battleview Parkway in Manassas.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe hailed the announcement as a major step in building a “new, high-tech Virginia economy.”

“We have the assets and the infrastructure, and with the help of strong corporate partners like Ventech Solutions continuing to expand the company’s footprint into the commonwealth, I am confident we will be the cyber capital of America,” McAuliffe said in a statement.

The Prince William Board of Supervisors on Tuesday committed $50,000 from the county’s Economic Development Opportunity Fund to encourage Ventech’s move. Virginia competed against Maryland and other states for the project.

In exchange for the investment, Ventech has agreed to create 200 jobs, with an average wage of $80,000, and invest $1 million in capital investment over a three-year period, county officials said in a news release.

“It was important for Ventech to establish a strong presence in the national capital region, at the center of a growing healthcare IT industry with access to a highly-skilled workforce and talent pipeline,” said Herb Jones, CEO, Ventech Solutions Inc. “Prince William County delivers all the requirements that a growing Inc. 5000 company needs to fulfill major mission-critical programs that are of national importance.”

Ventech Solutions focuses on creating “next-generation IT competitive advantages and leading transformational business initiatives,” according to the release.

Ventech’s clients span 14 states, with physical presences in Ohio, New Mexico, Washington D.C., Virginia and Louisiana.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ventech to Prince William County and to our growing IT business community,” Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart said. “The addition of 200 new jobs at an average salary of $80,000 a year is a great example of the type of jobs we are attracting in Prince William County.”

200 new jobs created by Ventech Solutions coming to Urbandale

URBANDALE, Iowa —Iowa Economic Development Authority officials announced support Friday for a plan to create 200 new jobs in Urbandale.

VentechSolutions, based in Columbus, Ohio, plans to open an office in Urbandale.The move is expected to create 200 jobs with 75 of those making $25.52 per hour.The company specializes in deployment of software systems and solutions for federal, state and local government agencies. The Urbandale office is expected to focus on help desk support and have a large application development team.The IEDA awarded the company $500,000 in direct financial assistance.
